Job Overview
 
• Utilize his/her experience with the On-Line Wiring program to support the Refurbishment workload.
• Ability to read and understand all types of electrical drawings, including electrical wiring diagrams, cable block diagrams and arrangement drawings.
• Prepare all types of electrical/Mechanical/ Civil drawings and sketches for equipment and electrical systems for the purpose of design, procurement of materials, fabrication and installation in a nuclear generating station utilizing Computer Aided Drafting system(CADS) technology. More specifically this involves the preparation of revision of detail and study drawings for fabrication and construction, providing all pertinent information for electrical wiring diagrams, cable block diagrams, and other associated electrical drawings.
• Prepare bills of materials to accompany given drawings
• Utilize his/her experience in OPG with the On-Line Wiring (OLW) program to support the Refurbishment workload. .
• Ability to read and understand all types of drawings, including electrical wiring diagrams, cable block diagrams, and general arrangement drawings.
• Other duties as required.
 
Qualifications
 
**On Line Wiring experience at the CAT2 or CAT3 User experience**
 
• Min 2 years experience in OPG / Nuclear / Hydro
• Previously Draftsperson qualified within OPG or in Nuclear Industry
• Performed Drawing Office and /or On Line Wiring functions
• Working knowledge of OPG Drafting / On Line Wiring Standards, Design
• Self starter
• Problem solver
