Project Manager (Bi-Lingual)

Project Manager
 
Location: 5005 rue Levy, Saint-Laurent, occasionally at the job site: St-Chrysostome substation – could require travelling to the job site or to some 3rd party offices in relation to the work
Duration: 2-3 days a week (variable as per the project progress) for approx 1 year (project is planned to be completed Sept 30 2018)
 
Experience Required
  • Experience with construction and turnkey projects with Hydro – Quebec (substation business)
  • Experience in Protection and Control or High Voltage Energy technology
  • French Speaking (Bi – Lingual)
  • Solid experience in document management with Hydro – Quebec
 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Project management assistance on St Chrysotome Hydro-Quebec Turn-Key project
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on-time , within scope and within budget
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation / implementation of PM best practice
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes and claims in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project
  • Deliver a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Perform site management during the construction phase
  • Customer relationship, Claim management and Permits and licenses application will be conducted by Siemens-
