Project Title: Nuclear Refurbishment Operations and Maintenance
 
Job Overview
 
• Rewrite as required all affected documentation from Refurbishment of the Darlington Station
• Identify standards and requirements to which changes must adhere to
• Produce documentation changes under the responsibility of refurbishment
• Interface with the Return to Service organizations and act as an intelligent customer on documentation issues
• Provide OPG with the timely deliverable of documents
• Ensure technical writing meets OPG standards as per N-STD-AS-0014
• Maintain procedure tracking database as required to monitor progress to ensure timely completion of all required documentation as per schedule
• Develop and foster good working arrangements with all interfaces
• Provide technical writing support as required in developing OPG Operational and Maintenance procedural requirements as required by the program needs
• Provide support to the Procedures Section Manager in the form of procedure re-write, scheduling, verification and validation as identified during and after facility walk-downs
 
Qualifications
 
• Nuclear experience is an asset.
• Technical Writing Diploma required.
• Must be able to collaborate compile and incorporate changes from stakeholders in a multidiscipline environment.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance.
• Must be able to exercise field walkdowns of equipment or systems.
