The Auditor will support the Bruce Power Supplier Lead Auditor in the performance of audit activities by
working closely with the Lead Auditor and other audit team members.
 
Auditors are considered participants in an audit. Auditors shall have nuclear audit experience and qualified as per ASME NQA-1
requirements. Auditors shall be given appropriate training /orientation within the Bruce Power Audit process in order to be qualified as a Bruce Power Supplier Auditor and to further develop their
competence for performing audits as per Bruce Power procedural requirements.
 
The auditor will be responsible for auditing specific processes, functions, sites, areas or activities as directed by the Bruce Power Lead Auditor.
 
Changes to the work assignments may be made as the audit progresses to ensure the achievement of
the audit objectives.
 
The Auditor shall review the information relevant to their audit assignments and prepare work documents as necessary for reference and for recording audit observations. Such work documents may
include:
• checklists and audit sampling plans, and
• forms for recording information, such as supporting evidence, audit findings and records of meetings
 
The Auditor shall have a good working knowledge of various quality management systems such as CSA N285, CSA Z series of Standards, ASME NQA-1, ISO 9000 and CSA N286. In addition, the auditor must process a solid working knowledge of the various nuclear codes and standards such as ASME, CSA and 10CFR50 Appendix B.
 
Within the general context of the job responsibilities, make suggestions to supervisor on how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and how to best meet the needs of our customers.
 
Perform other duties as required.
