Job Overview
 
• Job responsibilities include performing the duties of Design Engineer as associated with Qualification 33685, including and not limited to -- Plant modifications as per N-PROC-MP-0090, Oversight of contractors as per N-COl-00120-10000, administration of design activities, and any other duties and accountabilities as required of Design Engineer.
• Key accountabilities include performing these duties to expected high standards of quality, and providing results as per commitments.
• Senior engineer with OPG DE(33685) qualification. Experienced in Instrumentation, Control Systems and Electrical Systems. Knowledgeable in CSA N286-12, CSA, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA standards/codes. Knowledgeable ln OPG HFE and Software standards and process. Knowledgeable to work Independently as a DTL or senior engineer following OPG Governance and Process.
 
Qualifications
 
• Education: Bachelors in Engineering in Electrical or Chemical
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience working in related field. Nuclear/OPG experience is preferred
• Skills -- Design Engineering with background in Electrical and I&C. Ability to work diligently, quick learner, efficient, business acumen, experience with oversight functions
• Professional Designations -- P.Eng
