Welding Inspector

Category: Work Type: Contract Location: Napanee,ON
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Inspect materials utilizing visual and non-destructive techniques of new construction,
alteration of pressure and process equipment, process piping
• Weld Visual inspection
• Pressure Test Inspection
• In-Process Inspections and Final Inspections
• Complete all associated documentation
• Perform System Walkdowns
Experience and Qualifications:
CWB Level 2 Certification
• CWB, AWS, TSSA and ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Codes inspect fasteners,
materials and perform inspections as steel is being erected and completed.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret materials such as blueprints, job drawing
specifications, layout patterns
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Candidate should be self-motivated, well organized, and able to prioritize work
• A minimum of five years of related experience
• Sound knowledge of ASME B31.3 & B31.1 pressure piping code, and regulatory
