I and C Engineers

I & C Engineers 
Location: Kincardine, ON
Estimated Duration: 1 year with possible 1 year extension
Vacancies: 5 - 6 
Position Description:
• Seek an understanding of opportunities, hazards and risk issues and communicate with Discipline Lead and project team
• Ensure all personal actions and engineering design deliverables meet or exceed corporate, project and statutory Health, Safety and Environmental performance requirements
• Complete assessments and report progress to the discipline lead
• Gather data from multiple sources. Prepare engineering calculations appropriate for discipline, engineering analyses, and engineering studies. Writes final report and makes recommendations. Review/verify/approve calculations/analyses/studies created by others, if assigned.
• May assist or be responsible for project scope/cost/time management
• May assist or be responsible for project communication management.
• Ensure full commitment to OneWay in order to deliver technical integrity and successful health, safety and environmental outcomes.
• University degree in Engineering Discipline.
• A minimum of 5-15 years of related working experience in I & C Engineering
• Knowledge of power generation and experience in the design and / upgrade of control systems for steam turbine generator systems.
• Experienced in the major control platforms Schneider, Rockwell, ABB
• Experienced in safety PLCs such as Triconix is considered an asset
• Registered Professional Engineer in Canadian Province P.Eng. in Ontario required.
• Experience in major multi-discipline project teams and interacting with other disciplines and external parties (e.g. Customers, suppliers, etc.).
• Willingness to re-locate to Bruce
• Ideally familiar with ECC (Engineering Change Control)
• Desired Nuclear industry experience:
• Demonstrated experience in Nuclear processes and standards. Experience with working with Bruce Power procedure BP-PROC-539 is essential
• Knowledge of Candu systems and familiarity with unit power control in a Candu Nuclear plant is considered as an asset.
• Current nuclear Security Clearance is an asset
