Job Overview
 
1. Primary project engineer oversight of many scopes of work, including: FRF hydraulics, trombik, HP/LP, bearings, valves, layup, and FME.
2. Alternate oversight of the HP/LP shaftline
3. Assist in managing interfaces between TG's vendors (GE and CanAtom) and internal OPG workgroups
4. Track completion of the schedule, milestones, and project metrics
5. Review vendor documentation as required
6. Track vendors' adherence to scope and manage scope changes as required
7. Oversight of vendor performance and deliverables and vendor adherence to safety, scope, schedule, quality requirements
8. Assist Project Manager and Contract Manager to manage the commercial contract and scope changes as required.
 
Qualifications
 
9. 5+ years experience in Project Engineering or Project Management, preferably within a Nuclear facility
10. Bachelor of Engineering or degree in Engineering Technology in a related discipline
11. Experience in large steam turbine and/or auxiliaries maintenance, retrofits, or refurbishments
12. Experience working in / leading multi-disciplinary teams
13. Superior oral and written communication skills
