Project Title: Reactor Safety Program Support
 
Job Overview
 
Support Reactor Safety work program at the Darlington Stations. Activities may include:
1. Utilization of Probabilistic / Deterministic Safety Analysis to assess reactor safety risk and identify Safe Operating Envelope,
2. Thermal Hydraulic Assessments,
3. Reactor Safety Reviews of station maintenance, modifications, and operability evaluations,
4. Updates of Operational Safety Requirements and associated compliance tables.
5. Experience with Conducting /reviewing Thermal Hydraulic Assessments
 
Qualifications
 
6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science
7. Experience with utilizing unavailability or risk models to identify and evaluate systems/ components important to safety
8. Experience with component fault data entry
9. Experience with reviewing impact of safety analysis on Safe Operating Envelope
10. Experience with creating and updating operational safety requirements.
