Software Analyst-JH (Multiple Vacancies)

Category: IT Work Type: Contract Location: North York
Duration: 12 months with potential for perm/contract extension
Rate: $50-$68 Depending on Emp or Inc status.
Location: North York, ON
Start Date: Mid-Late September
 
**Multiple Vacancies**
 
Ideally you are proficient in C and assembler with knowledge of software development and software architecture.
 
Essential Skills:
 
1. 5 years of embedded real-time experience in a safety critical environment
2. 5 Years hands on exp with C programming, must have done C in last 2 to 3 years.
3. 2 years Clearcase UCM hands on experience
4. Strong Communication skills written and verbal.
5. Proof of problem solving and analytical skills
6. Bachelors in Engineering/electrical/computer/systems
 
Desirable Skills:
 
1. Assembler experience
2. Railway signalling techniques and knowledge
3. TCP/IP Network knowledge
4. DOORS and CLEARQUEST
5. PERL
 
Key Accountabilities:
 
• Understands and follows the company’s processes and procedures for developing vital software.
• Implements real time systems in ‘C’ and Assembler
• Designs, codes, debugs, write test procedures and tests software code.
• Reviews code, test procedures and test results
• Analyses and implements correction for defect reports
• Perform engineering testing in-house
