Service for Installation and Maintenance of Software

Information and expectations for all positions:

Our client located outside of Abu Dhabi in the UAE has a new opportunity for a variety of professional backgrounds, including those with backgrounds in engineering, technical procedure writing, material testing and IT, ideally in the nuclear industry.  This project has an expected duration of 6-12 months, and the work can be performed remotely (e.g. home office), and does not require relocation. 

Responsibilities:

  • These positions are to improve and enhance our clients internal procurement process for goods and services, focusing on procurement of augmented staff, material testing services, IT goods and services, and cyber security support services
  • The focus will be to review our clients in place procedures for procurement of good and services, including the scopes of work (SOWs) that our client has developed and currently provides to suppliers to goods and services
  • The objective will be to review the procedure and SOW and develop improvement and enhancements to allow the client to more efficiently and effectively procure the right goods and services, and obtain more accurate responses from suppliers
  • There is the potential for short-term travel to  the client for meetings

Qualifications:

Essential skills and experience:

This position requires a previous experience in the fields engineering (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical), IT, technical procedure writing and material testing

  • Previous experience working in an industrial setting
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • Experience working in the nuclear industry
  • Experience in developing SOWs and requests for proposals, particularly for the nuclear industry
  • Experience reviewing proposals from suppliers for goods and services, particularly for the nuclear industry
