Project Title: Outage Operations Technical Specialist
Job Overview
1. Support of modifications and projects,
2. Review and or preparation of outage documents including work plans, start-up and run-down procedures, marked-up procedures to support outage maintenance activities
3. Support of the Outage Planning Section System Window coordinators in the development of system maintenance logic and conflict identification,
4. Removal of holds, work package assessment, Support of various CNO and other challenge meetings
5. Preparation of risk mitigation plans
6. Tracking of plant conditions in support of pre-outage readiness reviews, Support the preparation of correspondence to obtain regulatory approvals,
7. Establishing the outage execution organization and filling key execution support roles,
8. Reconciling available operations resources against outage schedule demands and adjusting the schedule or seeking additional resources as required
9. Supporting a reactor safety challenge meeting by preparing mitigation strategies for high risk evolutions,
10. Preparing IPTE packages for specific outage evolutions
11. Previous certification as ANO at a Candu Nuclear facility
