Start Date: February 18, 2019

Duration: 2-3 Months

 CTSNA Pay Rate:

  • Temp Employee: $35.00/HR Reg. - $52.50/HR OT
  • Prop.: $38.00/HR Reg. - $57.00/HR OT
  • Inc’d.: $41.00/HR Reg. – $61.50/HR OT

Per Diem: $175.00/Day

 Summary:

Our client is looking for candidates that can assist in the deployment of 850 computers to staff at the Chalk River campus and Deep River locations. It is expected that the you will deploy 2-5 laptops per business day, following the instructions of the Technical Lead.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take direction and instruction from the Technical Lead;
  • Take direction and instruction from our employees related to safety and security;
  • Be able to discernably communicate in English writing and speaking;
  • Be able to unbox and re-box a computer and computer accessories neatly;
  • Be able to update the asset inventory list using HP Asset Manager, following a specific set of instructions;
  • Be able to install a Windows image on a laptop, following a specific set of instructions;
  • Be able to perform a backup and restore of data to/from a computer, following a specific set of instructions;
  • Be able to install software on Windows 10, following installation instructions;
  • Be able to physically install a computer and peripherals in an office setting;
  • Be able to remove legacy personal computer and peripherals from an office setting and

Required Skills & Experience

  • A college or University education in Computer Science
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) preferred.
  • Two years of experience with desktop deployments, network troubleshooting and upgrades
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the phone
