Job Overview

 

(1) EQ Design Engineer

 

  • Provide Environmental Qualification (EQ) subject matter expert (SME) support to OPG Design Engineers and Design Team Leaders;
  • Participate in engineering oversight of the EPC vendors for EQ deliverables;
  • Prepare, review, and verify design ECs and related documents. The work may include ECC deliverables including but not limited to consultation on technical matters along with calculations, reports and memos.
  • This work will  include providing EQ SME support to Units 3, 1 and 4 refurbishment project and replication design ECs closeout activities

 

 (1) Design Engineer

 

  • Participate in engineering oversight of the EPC vendors for design deliverables;
  • Participate in preparation, review and verification of replication Fire protection projects
  • Prepare, review, and verify design ECs and related documents.
  • Provide support to project team on interpretation of Codes, commissioning specifications, commissioning methodology, AFS, in addition to consultation on technical matters along with calculations, reports, memos and closeouts.

 

Qualifications

 

(1) EQ Design Engineer

 

  • Previous Nuclear plant EQ experience
  • OPG Design Engineer (DE) Qualification - QUAL 33685
  • OPG Environmental Qualification EQA Part I - QUAL 21854 (preferred)  
  • OPG EQ List development package - QUAL 21856 (preferred)  
  • Previous experience at Darlington GS is an asset

 

 (1) Design Engineer

 

  • Previous Nuclear Fire Protection program experience is preferred.
  • OPG Design Engineer (DE) Qualification - QUAL 33685
  • Previous experience at Darlington GS or any other nuclear plant is an asset
