Hours per week: 40, as a reminder Aug Staff hours of work are not guaranteed and only hours worked are paid.

 

Job Overview

 

  • Responsible for coordinating the planning, designing, installation and commissioning efforts pertaining to Advanced Continuous Online Monitoring (COLM) Program Technologies. The COLM is a Big Data Project, focused specifically on new sensor installations and integration with existing local data collection systems.
  • Develop sustainment strategies including maintenance lifecycle for new advanced COLM hardware and software deployments.
  • Accountable for producing plans and schedules and effectively engaging with the design engineering team to deliver project scope in accordance with established project scope documents, timelines, cost constraints and management direction.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering.
  • Knowledge of the ECC/Modification Process (N-PROC-MP-0090) including working knowledge of all phases of product delivery at Pickering and Darlington is considered an asset.
  • Experience in establishing appropriate contracting strategies and for the purpose of using 3rd party companies.
  • The ability to ensure cost effectiveness and experience with fixed price/time and material budgeting for installation and commissioning labour work force.
  • Project Management experience is required, and the PMP designation is considered an asset.
  • Qualified MTL (Qual ID 42293) is considered and asset.
