Electrical Engineer (Main Distribution Architect)

Job Description The following deliverables are created by the Electrical Mains Architect: The functional overview and block diagrams describing the functions within the maim system on a high level. The functional specification (fEPS), test specification (TPS), design specification (fEDS) and qualification document (TAR) of the electrical Mains.

  • Define, document and maintain requirements and roadmaps for the electrical layout infrastructure.
  • Translate the electrical infrastructure requirements from the customer in a product definition together with System Engineering and Marketing
  • Investigate and write down the requirements of production and service.
  • Concept study and definition of the electrical mains.
  • Perform trade-off studies to determine the preferred implementation scenario for the realization of the electrical Mains system.
  • Make MD concept designs that meet the international standards on electrical safety and EMC.

Education MS degree required ? Electrical Engineer (area of Power Electronics desired).

Experience Minimum 3 ? 5 Years of experience Semiconductor industry experience preferred. Experience defining, documenting and maintaining requirements and roadmaps for the electrical layout infrastructure Ability to translate electrical infrastructure requirements from the customer in a product definition; together with System Engineering and Marketing Skilled in investigating and documenting the requirements of production and service Highly motivated team player with excellent social and communication skills Accuracy, systematic approach, analytical, problem solving Structured with eye for details Leadership skills (give direction), ability to provide technical direction, motivate and convince to a team of professional designers; Initiative, pro-active Wide scope on system level and organization level Responsible, disciplined, and quality focus Technical discussion partner for supplier(s) Fluent in English; communicating and writing

  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature and noise level.
  • Occasionally may be exposed to loud noise bursts and may be exposed to toxic gases (fluorine).
  • Must be able to work in small, confined spaces.
